This project was undertaken on behalf of the owners of the Morgans Boutique Hotel. The roof terrace area had become old and dilapidated and required refurbishment.
The works involved the removal of 140m2 of concrete topping which was approximately 250mm thick. The concrete rubble was taken off the roof via chutes into trucks below due to parking restrictions.
Once the roof was clean a new PVC membrane was installed to the entire roof area, including new waterproofing to perimeter parapet walls.
Following the installation of the membrane, travertine pavers were installed incorporating the Versi-pave support system.
