Community Involvement

Supporting causes that matter to our team and our community

At Danrae Group, we believe that strong communities are built when people look out for one another. Giving back is an important part of who we are, and we proudly support initiatives that promote awareness, connection, and meaningful change.

Our team takes part in community events each year, with a special focus on causes that support mental health and people living with multiple sclerosis.

MS Journey

In 2016, my life took an unexpected turn when I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS), a condition that affects the central nervous system. At the time, it felt like standing at the edge of the unknown, filled with uncertainty and questions about what the future might look like.

As I’ve navigated this journey, I’ve been incredibly grateful for the support around me. Professionally, Danrae Group has been a huge part of that support. Their understanding, flexibility, and genuine care have allowed me to continue growing, contributing, and moving forward with confidence while managing my health. Knowing I’m supported has made it easier to focus on my strengths and find balance in both my work and personal life.

That support goes beyond the workplace. Each year, Danrae proudly contributes to and participates in the MS Walk, something that means a great deal to me personally. It’s a reminder that I’m not navigating this journey alone, and that awareness and support truly matter.

I’ve also been fortunate to have the unwavering love and support of my family throughout the years, while MS is part of my story, it does not define who I am. It’s simply one chapter that has shaped my perspective, strengthened my resilience, and deepened my gratitude.

Being surrounded by people, both at work and at home who see me as more than a diagnosis has made all the difference. It’s shown me that with compassion, understanding, and the right support, challenges can be navigated and life can continue to move forward in meaningful ways.

MS Walk

Walking together for a stronger future

We are passionate supporters of the MS Walk, an annual event that raises funds and awareness for Australians living with multiple sclerosis. Our team joins thousands of participants each year to help ensure that people diagnosed with MS receive the support, care, and research funding they deserve. It is an event that brings us together with our community and reminds us of the power of collective action.

R U OK Day

A simple question that can change a life

Mental health is incredibly important to us. Each year, we proudly support R U OK Day, encouraging our staff, clients, and wider network to start meaningful conversations and check in with one another. A workplace culture built on care and connection creates safer, more supportive environments for everyone. By promoting open discussions about mental health, we aim to help reduce stigma and remind people that asking for help is always OK.

Our Commitment

Community involvement is not a once a year activity for us. It is a mindset that runs through our workplace culture. Whether we are supporting national fundraising events or looking after each other on site, we believe that every action contributes to a stronger, more connected community.
